Aspheric Powell Prism

The Powell prism, also known as the line laser generation prism, is specifically optimized for the production of linear laser light spots. The Powell prism converts circular light spots into uniform linear light spots, providing a uniform energy distribution over the entire beam length. The Powell prism is an ideal choice for applications such as calibration and machine vision. These prisms offer multiple top-angle models. 


Aspheric Line Laser Generator (ALG) is capable of generating uniform linear light within a specified angular sector, with the light beam intensity distribution being of a flat-top type. These Powell lenses are manufactured through precise manufacturing processes to ensure that the generated line laser has high power, uniformity, and distribution linearity, as well as excellent dimensional consistency between components. They are specifically designed for a specific input beam diameter to provide the best line beam uniformity; the larger the input beam, the higher the intensity at both ends of the line, while the smaller the input beam, the closer the distribution of the line approaches a Gaussian distribution.
