UltraOpto Precision Right Angle Prism Now Available 

Focusing on the high-precision optical path control requirements of optical systems, UltraOpto has newly launched precision right-angle prisms. Relying on strict optical processing techniques and high-quality substrate selection, they are perfectly adapted to core scenarios such as beam deflection, retro-reflection imaging, and laser systems, providing stable and reliable optical path solutions for scientific research experiments, industrial inspections, and precision optical equipment.

Precisely control every beam of light 

High-quality base material, wide-band high transmittance 

We offer two mainstream materials: ultraviolet fused silica (UVFS/JGS1) and BK7 optical glass. The UVFS/JGS1 version covers an ultra-wide band of 185-2100nm, featuring excellent light transmission, low thermal expansion coefficient, and is immune to the harsh conditions of ultraviolet and infrared, ensuring long-term stability. The BK7 version is suitable for the visible light band, offering outstanding cost performance and meeting the requirements of conventional optical systems. 

High-precision processing, with strict error control. 

By adopting ultra-precision cold processing technology, the angular tolerance can be as low as ±3 arc seconds, the surface flatness can reach λ/[email protected], the dimensional tolerance is precisely controlled within ±0.1mm, the clear aperture is no less than 80%, and the surface finish meets the high standard of 40/20, completely eliminating optical path deviation and ensuring imaging and reflection effects. 

Total internal reflection + flexible coating 

Based on the principle of total internal reflection (TIR), it can achieve efficient 90° beam deflection and 180° retroreflection without additional coating. Customized coating solutions are supported. The right-angle surface can be coated with an anti-reflection (AR) film to increase the transmission rate, and the inclined surface can be coated with aluminum film, silver film, or dielectric high-reflection (HR) film, with the highest reflectivity reaching 99%. It is suitable for different wavelength bands and application scenarios.
