UltraOpto New Product Launch | Half-Penta Prism, 90° Precise Steering for Compact Optical Systems

SEMI-PENTAGONAL PRISM New product launch

UltraOpto newly launches the half-penta prism, which is formed by cutting a penta prism in half. Its volume is reduced by half, greatly improving space utilization. It can achieve precise 90° beam deflection. After two reflections, there is no image flip/inversion, with minimal dispersion effect and good incident angle tolerance, making it an ideal steering component for compact optical systems.

The product selects N-BK7/K9 optical glass for regular models, and can also be customized with ultraviolet fused silica material to adapt to ultraviolet/near-infrared bands. It strictly adheres to high-precision standards, with angle tolerance as low as 2 arcseconds, surface flatness of λ/[email protected], and clear aperture >85%. The light-transmitting surface is coated with VIS broadband anti-reflection coating, and the reflecting surface is coated with high-reflection coating and protected by painting. Mainstream specifications are available in stock, and non-standard sizes and exclusive coating systems are customizable.

Each product undergoes three inspections (angle, surface shape, and light transmittance) before leaving the factory, with stable and durable structure. It is widely applicable to scenarios such as high-end telescopes, astronomical observation mirrors, camera viewfinders, geodetic surveying instruments, and small optical rangefinders. Small batches of samples are available with stable delivery time, providing high-precision beam steering solutions for various compact optical systems.
