UltraOpto New Product Launch | Aspherical Powell Prism, the Core Choice for Highly Uniform Laser Line Spot

Aspheric Powell prism New product launch

UltraOpto newly launches the aspherical Powell prism, specially designed for laser beam shaping. It can convert a circular Gaussian laser beam into a linear spot with uniformly distributed energy, completely solving the problem of traditional划线 (laser marking) where the center is bright and the edges are dark. The line width uniformity is ≤10%, the straightness is ≥0.1%, the light energy utilization rate is far higher than that of conventional optical components, and it is compatible with the full wavelength range from 405nm to 808nm.

The product selects high-quality base materials such as N-BK7/K9 optical glass and ultraviolet fused silica (JGS1). The latter is suitable for ultraviolet/high-power laser scenarios and has excellent laser damage threshold. Ultra-precision processing strictly controls the accuracy: the surface shape accuracy reaches λ/2 ~ λ/[email protected], the edge straightness is ≤2μm, the fan angle can be selected from 10° to 110° with a tolerance within ±1°, and it supports custom coating systems such as 400-1600nm broadband anti-reflection coating, with a light transmittance aperture of >90%.

The product undergoes three rounds of verification before leaving the factory: surface shape, light intensity uniformity, and high-low temperature cycle tests, ensuring strong environmental adaptability. It is widely applicable to scenarios such as machine vision, industrial laser marking, lidar calibration, semiconductor processing, and medical laser equipment. Mainstream specifications are available in stock. The fan angle, size, and coating can all be customized non-standard. Small-batch sampling is supported with stable delivery time, providing a highly reliable solution for high-precision laser beam shaping.
