UltraOpto New Product Launch | Wedge Prism, Enabling Precise Beam Deflection for Optical Path Calibration in Various Optical Systems

New arrival: Wedge prisms

UltraOpto newly introduces the wedge prism (optical wedge), which core function is to achieve controllable small-angle precise deflection of light beams. A single prism can complete fixed-angle deviation, and paired rotation of two prisms can realize fine adjustment of the optical path in any direction. It features no wavefront distortion and effectively avoids ghost image interference, making it a core basic component for optical path calibration and shaping in optical systems.

The product selects K9/N-BK7 optical glass for regular models. For ultraviolet/high-precision scenarios, custom ultraviolet fused silica material is available to meet full-band optical requirements. It adheres to strict high-precision processing standards, with dimensional tolerance of ±0.05mm, wedge angle tolerance as low as ±30 arcseconds, surface flatness reaching λ/5~λ/[email protected], light transmittance aperture >90%, and the light-transmitting surface can be custom coated with UV/VIS/NIR full-band anti-reflective coatings.

Each unit undergoes three inspections before leaving the factory: surface shape, wavefront accuracy, and light transmittance. It has excellent temperature resistance and strong environmental adaptability, widely applicable to scenarios such as laser processing/calibration equipment, machine vision, lidar, and precision optical measuring instruments. Regular deflection angles ranging from 1° to 10° are available in stock. The wedge angle, size, and coating can all be customized to non-standard specifications. Small-batch sampling is supported with stable delivery time, providing high-precision optical path fine-tuning solutions for various optical systems.
