UltraOpto New Product Launch | Rhombic Prism, the Core Choice for Optimizing Optical System Layout through Beam Lateral Translation

New Product Launch | Rhombic Prism

UltraOpto newly launches the rhombic prism (diamond prism), which mainly achieves precise lateral displacement of the light beam without changing its direction. The light exits after two total internal reflections, with no image inversion, no dispersion, and no wavefront distortion throughout the process. The incident and emergent lights are strictly parallel, making it a key basic component for optimizing the spatial layout of optical systems.

The regular version of the product is carefully made of H-K9L/N-BK7 optical glass. For ultraviolet/near-infrared/high-precision scenarios, special substrates such as ultraviolet fused silica can be customized; it strictly adheres to high-precision processing standards, with a dimensional tolerance of +0/-0.2mm, an angle accuracy of ≤±30 arcseconds, a surface flatness of λ/[email protected], and a clear aperture of >90%. The light-transmitting surface can be customized with UV/VIS/NIR broadband anti-reflective coatings, and the reflective surface supports customization of total internal reflection or high-reflective coatings.

The product undergoes three rigorous inspections of surface shape, parallelism, and light transmittance before leaving the factory, with excellent temperature resistance and structural stability. It is widely applicable to scenarios such as telescopes, microscopes, lidars, industrial calibration equipment, and medical endoscopes. It can effectively avoid optical path and optimize the layout of compact optical systems. Mainstream specifications are available in stock, non-standard sizes and exclusive coating systems can be customized, small-batch sampling is supported, and the delivery time is stable.
