Four-Bandpass Filter

Ultraopto’s Four-bandpass Filter is a high-performance multi-spectral optical filter engineered with advanced multi-layer dielectric coating technology, featuring four independent high-transmission spectral bands in a single filter to enable simultaneous multi-spectral detection, serving as a core component in fluorescence imaging, flow cytometry, multi-spectral detection and biomedical diagnostic systems. Crafted from premium optical-grade glass substrates, our product delivers an average transmittance of ≥90% for the primary spectral band and ≥93% for the secondary band in the four target transmission bands, with precise center wavelength control and narrow passband width for each band, ensuring high spectral resolution and accurate multi-spectral isolation, and the rejection region features an optical density of ≥OD6 (up to OD10 for custom ULTRA series), with steep spectral edges that minimize spectral crosstalk between the four bands and effectively block unwanted light, maximizing the signal-to-noise ratio for multi-spectral detection systems. Manufactured with strict precision coating and optical processing technology, the filter ensures consistent spectral performance across all four transmission bands, with no mutual interference and stable light transmission for each band.

We implement strict quality control over all manufacturing processes, from substrate selection to coating deposition and finished product testing, achieving a superior surface quality rating of 60/40 scratch-dig and a clear aperture of over 90%, minimizing light scattering and reflection loss for optimal multi-spectral optical performance. The filter features a compact and thin structural design with customizable overall thickness and diameter dimensions, enabling seamless integration into compact multi-spectral imaging systems, portable detection devices and miniature biomedical diagnostic instruments, and the durable hard coatings exhibit excellent environmental stability and mechanical resistance, with scratch resistance, temperature change resistance and humidity resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation in both laboratory precision testing and clinical/industrial field conditions. Our Four-bandpass Filter is also designed with low thermal expansion coefficient, avoiding wavelength drift and spectral performance degradation caused by temperature changes, which is crucial for accurate multi-spectral quantitative detection and imaging applications.

Ultraopto’s Four-bandpass Filter is widely applied in professional multi-spectral optical fields that demand simultaneous detection of multiple spectral bands, including fluorescence imaging for simultaneously capturing multiple fluorescence emission signals of biological samples, enabling multi-color fluorescence imaging and high-throughput biological analysis for biomedical research and clinical diagnosis. In flow cytometry, it is an essential component for simultaneously detecting multiple fluorescently labeled biomarkers in cells, achieving accurate cell classification and disease diagnosis, and in multi-spectral detection systems for environmental monitoring, it enables simultaneous detection of multiple atmospheric pollutants and water contaminants, improving detection efficiency and reducing equipment volume and cost. It also serves as a core component in biomedical diagnostic instruments for multi-parameter clinical testing, in industrial quality control for simultaneous detection of multiple material characteristics and surface defects, and in agricultural remote sensing for simultaneously detecting multiple crop growth parameters such as chlorophyll content and water status.

Additionally, the filter is used in machine vision systems for multi-spectral imaging and object recognition, as well as in academic research and multi-spectral optical experiment platforms for studying the multi-spectral characteristics of materials and biological samples.
