UltraOpto’s 12mm focal length M12 Autofocus Liquid Lens is a compact, high-performance autofocus solution engineered for 2/3” sensors, delivering sharp, consistent imaging for industrial machine vision and automation applications.
Core Optical Performance
This lens features a 12mm nominal focal length (adjustable 11.51–12.26mm with the integrated liquid lens) and a bright F3.8 aperture, maintaining reliable light transmission across its 100mm–4m working distance range. At the reference wavelength of 570nm, it offers ultra-low distortion of just 1.0% max, ensuring accurate detail capture for inspection, measurement, and quality control tasks.
Compact & Precision Design
Built with a total track length (TTL) of only 15.8mm and a standard Φ14 M12 mount, the lens integrates seamlessly into compact vision systems. Its 15° maximum chief ray angle (CRA) ensures compatibility with a wide range of 2/3” sensors, while 70% relative illumination minimizes vignetting for uniform brightness across the entire Φ11.2mm image circle.
Durability for Industrial Environments
Designed for continuous operation in demanding settings, the lens supports 6MP resolution and operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C (storage: -40°C to +85°C). The liquid lens enables fast, maintenance-free autofocus without moving mechanical parts, making it ideal for high-cycle, long-term use in logistics scanning, robotics, and scientific imaging workflows.
